Joe Buck: Troy, have you blah blah blah, blah blahblablablah Dak Prescott?

Troy Aikman: Well, of course, blablah blablablahbalh Dak, and Dak bla blah blablablah, and anytime Dak Blablablablah blah blah, Dak has blablablablahblaaaahhhhhhh.

Tyron Smith limited again yesterday in practice. Even if he goes, I doubt he is not likely to be his normal self. If we can rush 4 and get that blind side pressure....Cowboys are toast. If we've been "pacing" ourselves in the early season, you can bet they'll go balls out prior to the bye. That's an advantage. Nobody likes to go into the bye with a loss.

Also...with Gallup being back, that likely means Lamb in the slot most of the time which means Sneed on Lamb w/ Ward and Fenten on Gallup and Cooper. I actually feel good about that alignment.

"Smith missed the last two starts with what the Cowboys describe as a bone spur in his ankle but a source describes it to CBS Sports as more akin to a mild high ankle sprain that was re-aggravated a couple weeks back, when he was forced out of the Week 8 victory over the Minnesota Vikings."

Has the curse of Haglund's spirit returned to pay its debt to the Chiefs?

Look, there is a LOT to worry about with the Cowboys. Its not being scared to have concerns about a team that when playing their best can hang 40 on you.

The Defense with Parsons moving all over the formation to find weakness and exploit it, Diggs roaming around in the secondary ballhawking turnovers on a pace that ranks #1 in the league.

You could easily argue that this is the best team we have faced all year. There is not a single thing you can take away from them that will slow them down. Stop the run, no problem they will throw it all day.
Shut down the TE, no problem, plenty of other places to go with the ball.

Its pretty tough to stop everything on their offense. Safe to say we wont. They will get theirs. They will put up a respectable amount of points. We will not do to them what the Broncos were able to do.

Our offense will need to produce at a similar rate as they did in the Raiders game and I think they will.
Our defense will need a few stops, force a few punts and a turnover or two.
They can do that, the team definitely is capable of beating the Cowboys and I think they will!!

As long as Sorenson isn't on Shultz I'm fine with this.

Ugh, Spags recently commented on how much he loves Sorenson and how happy he is he's back to form. NBC Sports fluff piece.

#49 is detrimental to the success of this defense. He is a depth/ST player only. After this season he needs to go, along with a lot of other players from the defensive side of the ball. More specifically, Hitchens, Niemann, Clark, Mathieu (cap).

I like that alignment and would try to put Fenton on Cooper. Fenton's technical prowess matches up better against Cooper, who is a sneaky, tricky route-runner.

That leaves Gallup on Ward. Gallup doesn't always play well against physicallity, so I think that's a good matchup.

I'd like to see the Chiefs stick to a more traditional nickel set rather than try running a lot of dime, which would let them put Gay in as a coverage guy and would give them their best run stuffing formation.

The Cowboys run 11 personnel nearly 60 percent of the time. Hopefully the Chiefs counter to that on anything but long-distance downs is their base nickel.

Ideally, that base nickel would feature Bolton and Gay. But we all know Hitchens will be out there.

Dallas is in 12 personnel about 30 percent of the time this year. I'd expect to see the "base" against those sets and actually like the run game matchup in those sets.

This will be our toughest game so far and possibly for the year.

Their offense is damn good. Elliott, Lamb, Cooper, Gallup. Toughest offense we’ll face in the regular season

The Broncos didn't seem to think so.

So what happened when Dungver played them? Also Parsons won’t have much issue finding the weakness in our OL, it’s gonna be RT. I like our chances if we don’t turn the ball over.

Trevon Diggs is susceptible to double moves with as many routes as he tries to jump.

I think this is the game Tyreek can get that YPC back up.

Goes both ways. I'm sure Packers didn't think much of our offense as well.

Parsons can probably also expose Brown with his speed. But that leaves and opening across the middle in the short intermediate.
