Let me know when the Chiefs get flags in their favor, play after play after play in the last 1 min to win the game and I will have an answer.

What exactly was "bitter" about it? You guys were already in the playoffs. While the Bengals were fighting for a division title and a playoff berth.

I don't see anything "antagonistic" about my first post, other than the "quit whining" part. You guys act like the sky is falling, but you're still 11-5 and extremely good. Holy shit, try not to act so entitled.

Bro. Shutup.

Good point. We should be glad we didn't called for them false starting for a second time.

Taunting

27th ranked KC media market + 2SB's = profit. Follow the $$$

Well, that was obvious to everyone but the refs.

Ok so you're taking the "NFL storylines and players drive ratings" angle.

Everyone seems to have a different reason as to why the NFL rigs games, its hard to keep up with it all.

I don't think media markets is a driving factor. The NFL as a whole is popular, people watch multiple games, but I do think if we see another guy win 4+ bowls it'll be in a big market.

Right now KC is disliked by most fans because we've won to much.

Have been thinking about this a lot lately.

Pull up Reddit, no one but Chiefs fans likes the Chiefs. We're in the "everyone is tired of us" group now.

Horseshit. You're lucky I don't have a DVR of the game... I'd embarrass you.

If the Bengals DB's could catch INT's - The Bengals win comfortably, instead of a nail-biter.

I actually like the Chiefs... love Mahomes, Reid, and everything about how they play football. Too bad a dick-bag like you has to come along and kinda ruin my perception of the fan base.

Name one ****ing call that went in the Chiefs favor down the stretch. We had a touchdown taken off the board and our opportunities in the second half were limited because time and time again the refs extended the bungles drives. Our secondary had a bad day but you were allowed do overs again and again so go **** yourself!

It was bad. And it likely cost the Chiefs a won today.

But the 'rigged' talk is just emotional people lashing out.

No...it was obvious to them...it just wasn't called.

One reason for optimism is if the NFL isn't worried about being this overt...and wanting as many teams forced to play week 18...then they shouldn't be shy about ****ing over the Titans next week.

The replacement refs are a "go to" mechanism for the NFL...it's a built in excuse. "They just weren't on the same page" horseshit...

You say it's about story lines.

One says it's about media markets.

Another says it's Vegas.

Another says it's rigged to get players to play more playoff games for ratings....

I mean....LMAO

I'm just glad the NFL (or Vegas) cares enough about Chiefs fans to send the 27th ranked market Chiefs to 6 straight AFCWC, 3 straight AFCC and 2 straight SB's.

If the NFL will send the 27th ranked KC market to the SB, then there truly is parity in the league.

It's about close games.

What does a blowout do for TV ratings? Who continues to watch 35-14 outside of the 1 fanbase winning?

If you watch the NFL, take note on how many flags start flying when a game is getting to that tipping point.
Granted, good teams can still outperform Zebra help... and the Chiefs have done it a couple of times, but today was not that.

Don't get me wrong, the Chiefs have benefit from the zebras before too, as have all teams. Today was different. The NFL loved that Mahomes comeback story so much they helped it a bit.

In the end it doesn't really matter, there are still many games left until the SuperBowl... and I want this years team to earn it the hard way because they played like such shit at the start.

stevieray 01-02-2022 04:37 PM

In postgame, Burrows said they "got calls" three times in 10 seconds.

....even he knows.
