See you then

No shit. I sort of admire the honesty that they're not even going to put forth an effort this year to be competitive.

KCUnited 01-25-2023 08:30 PM

Fair or not the last run was cool because there was **** all going on across the parking lot besides a dude killing himself.

Now if you tell me its going to be a couple years then I'm fine checking back with you then, especially being out of market.

Would not be surprised. If they can't resurrect 1-2 of the current/former pitching prospects, it will be worse. Truth is, our offense has a better chance to be better without all the baggage from any vets we've traded. Pitching...100% depends on new coaches making an impact on what we already have. Wouldn't hurt to have Zach eating some innings and saying funny things.

I love how they are doing this. That dip shit Dayton Moore would have signed a couple of shitty vets to block our young players and would be out here telling everyone that he expects to be very competitive this year and he would legit believe it.

Chiefspants 01-26-2023 09:28 AM

Yep. The young guys are going to get their shot this year, and I love that.

I did the opening day plus 2 pack. Never been to an opening day, I’m still pretty excited about the kids.

The legend of Vinnie Pasquantino rises.

Not only will they get their shot, I think the organization will put higher expectations on them to succeed from the get go or they may become part of the transactional model and moved.

If so, will be interesting to see how prospects perform with immediate expectations from the prior regime. Coddling prospects and wasting several years of service time to "develop" at the Major League level had grown quite tiresome.

What do we do with Doz?

If the downtown park doesnt happen, is it bye-bye royals?

I would hope we sue and keep the royals name and history here if it comes to it.

Has Sherm dropped any hints about moving?

Sue for what? If the owner would want to leave, because we won't pay for a new stadium, then that is well within his rights. I'm not worried about it. More than likely it gets passed.

It's speculation when an owner wants a new stadium and promptly cuts payroll.

No, but if the city won't provide a down town stadium, then he will go somewhere that will.

poolboy 01-26-2023 02:54 PM
