I’m warming to Jason Anderson, but I agree with JakeF. I never listened to a smoke & fire or racing boys segment because you can turn the dial in the middle of a show. It’s not an all or nothing deal.

One of his hot takes. |
Does the Smoke and Fire guy still have a gig at 810? I will admit I listened to it the owner had such a calm make you sleepy voice. I do feel it was just one long infomercial. The only thing I ever got out of the boring racing boys was they had a intense hatred for Danica Patrick.
I will probably listen the Renfro interview as he was wild during his days at the station. He reminded me of the shock jock from KC area that went on to chicago after Johnny Dare stole his act then job. As far as Kietzman I listen to him mainly as truck noise over the crew in the work truck. I was never a big fan but he was tolerable. I think much of some here hatred for him is his bias to k state and he said things about your university or coach and hold onto the grudge. I do feel it was right to fire him due to bringing family into his opinions of coach reid. |

I never listened to that crap either. |

Mahomes is either getting a little sloppy or his ankle is still bothering him. It's great to be able to make throws off your back foot, but it's not necessarily the best way to do it when you don't have to. It seems like Mahomes has had questionable footwork at times along these lines to me. My suspicion is that he's still favoring his ankle a little bit.

Keitzman was super whiny and I love it when SJW’s get a taste of their own medicine, but KC talk radio is worse today because he got fired.

He wasn't replaced by nothing; he was replaced by a better product. That's a net benefit and a substantial one. |

Yesterday was the biggest collection of unlistenable trash 810 has seriously ever put together.
I had to listed to LA sports radio talk about the Dodgers and Rams on the way home. It was as awful as it sounds but at least it wasn't some bullshit like yesterday. If I never hear the name Chad Boeger again it will be too soon. NOBODY GIVES A F ABOUT CHAD BOEGER YOU IMBECILES STFU |

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mancow_Muller Radio career beginnings Muller's radio career began while he was in college. He got a job at KOKO in Warrensburg as a late night control board operator, playing local commercials during satellite broadcasts of The Larry King Show.[4] His role at the station gradually expanded until he got his own afternoon show. Among Muller's fans was the general manager of KLSI-FM, Kansas City, who offered him a full-time job as head of station promotions. Muller accepted the position, plus a weekend air shift, while completing his final semester at Central Missouri State. After graduating in 1990, Muller was hired as the morning drive air talent at Kansas City's KBEQ-FM, Q-104, where the Holy Moley & Maxx Show quickly rose to #1 in the ratings and helped Q-104 dominate the market.[4] After his early hometown success, Muller left Kansas City for a brief stint at KDON-FM in Salinas, California. Then he headed north to San Francisco and KYLD-FM, "Wild 107". Now going by his old college nickname Mancow, in 1993 Muller made national headlines with a publicity stunt that caused a major traffic problem for San Francisco. Reacting to a subsequently debunked story that President Bill Clinton had tied up air traffic at Los Angeles International Airport for over an hour while getting a haircut from celebrity hairstylist Cristophe aboard Air Force One, Muller staged a parody of the incident on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge during rush hour. He used vans to block the westbound lanes on the bridge while his then-sidekick, Jesus "Chuy" Gomez, received a haircut.[4] As a result of the publicity stunt, Muller was charged with creating a public nuisance. After entering a no contest plea, his sentence included three years probation, a $500 fine and 100 hours of community service. The radio station settled a civil suit by paying $1.5 million, including $500,000 to cover three toll-free days on the bridge.[5][6] |

Radio personalities think people listen to them and care about their lives. Classic narcissism. NOBODY wants to hear about some engineer from 20 years ago or how Chad and Kevin started this whole thing. We're not listening to hear about your lives. We want Chiefs news. All day. Every day. Unbelievable that anyone could have talked themselves into thinking that the KC listening audience was remotely interested in hearing you all shoot the shit about the old days. NOBODY. CARES. |

Eff her. He nearly ran Hill out of town (without the facts), and with it you could flush any chance of a SB this year or next. He made a living out of spouting off his opinion, but apparently doesn't feel the Chiefs or Chiefs fans opinions should count in regards to the choices he made from a powerful platform. |
Also, wasn't he against the idea of SOC?
Yeah, this turd has been nothing but bad for the community. **** him. |
The fact that the Keitzman's are apparently mad drunk tweeting about Kevin losing his cush job in the most obnoxious way possible after everything that happened with the Chiefs today is just kind of like the cherry on top of an amazing day.

I'm still tickled that we obliterated this jackass and his radio station is now going under.

One of my wife’s colleagues got a great job 2 years ago and left her department. She was in external affairs and there were only 5 people in that role covering Kansas territories. You would never get laid off and your salary was at least 90k+ bonus. Easy street.
3 of the 5 people were older than 60 and had been there at least 25 years. That’s how great the job was. People genuinely loved working there. Things were great for her until she got fired for getting a DUI and not reporting it to the company. If she would have reported it, she would have simply been suspended and returned, but nope. Gotta be a reerun. It’s amazing how stupid some people are. KK literally just had to not be a reerun and shut his yapper about Andy’s kid and he’s still on the radio today. Now he’s a courier. |
He Good! (Hill that is)

KK still tweets using his @KKwhb would think they would make him give that up. Leads me to believe he has some ownership still.

What this guy did was repugnantly contemptible.
Conflating a head coach's relationships with his players and the loss of his addict child was one of the most odious and repulsive verbal essays I've ever heard by anyone. The "it needs to be talked about" rationale he used at the time tells you all you need to know about Kietzman's ethical orientation. On balance, I have my doubts that this guy was ever a boy scout. FAX |
I don’t wish ill will on ANYONE (karma and all), but this smug POS deserves every bit of shit that comes his way.
He made his bed. He can lie in it. |

He made it seem like it was an honest mistake, I was just like uh huh. |
I did enjoy Kietzman's monologue series although he did come off at times as gossipy and overly critical on certain players.
Since he was taken off radio, I have switched to listening to Arrowhead Pride's podcasts which I find very insightful. |

"Well, he called it as he saw it" "Enjoyed his show before he got hit by our cancel culture." We should "ignore them rather than demand their firing when they don’t live up to our personal standards." |

There was a time (early 00’s) I really enjoyed his show. At some point though his opinions morphed into obvious troll jobs from what was originally genuine sports talk.
I don’t think he should have been fired for it but I also haven’t listened to him in at least a decade and also think sports talk in town is better for it quality wise. I think he could have possibly survived had he shown actual contrition in the direct aftermath instead of doubling down like the egomaniacal mega douche he unfortunately became. What’s he doing now anyways? |

I guess that's a bigger and healthier entity, but it's also a complete dead-ender. She's not moving up at ESPN and she's not getting a bigger press gig anywhere writing that piddly-ass column that nobody reads. The KC Star has been, and in many ways still is, a stepping stone for significant national journalists to kick-start their careers. She got a sweetheart gig there and had a fantastic opportunity to follow the career path of far better writers that came before her in that same chair. And she turned it into a 'pivot' to ESPN where she'll just kinda slowly fade away. If for no other reason than, as was mentioned BEFORE all the Tyreek Hill stuff - she's just a bad football writer. She's been put in the spot that least allows her to demonstrate any skills she may have. She's been sent to writer Siberia, IMO. I'd say it's largely a lateral move but what it truly is, is a waste of a fantastic opportunity presented to her. Everyone that has done that job well before her has gone on to greener pastures. She saw barbecuing Hill as her jumping off point to national prominence. It most assuredly didn't work out that way. EDIT: And I absolutely think she was dumped. That kind of in-season swap just doesn't happen unless the Star had told her to go find something else post-haste. And they sure had Teope lined up quickly, didn't they? But/for the Hill fiasco, she's still our 'lead' beat writer. {shudder} |
