We've shown we are still an elite team without a true #1 though.

The Bills have not yet proven that they can remain at the top with consistent turnover.

They've only been here for 2-ish years. We've been here for 4+.

all the pressure of being #1 is now on buffalo

see how they handle it...last year, they didn't

Buffalo seems to be drafting well. They found Gabe Davis in later rounds. Would think they continue to figure it out. They haven’t had any disastrous Frank Clark deals. Their front office is smart. Coach McDermott also has the right culture in the locker room. I would not bet on them falling off a cliff.

They've also got an elite QB so I'd bet they'll still be good. Just agreeing with Run that they're only just about to hit their first big transition year while we've been through a few.

This roster is so different than the one that won the Super Bowl just 2.5 years ago. It's crazy.

Off the top of my head, only holdovers are Mahomes, Kelce, Chris Jones, Frank Clark and Fenton. I suppose you can count Thornhill even though he didn't play in that SB.

No one decided this is our game....

DK Metcalf would be nice. Imagine him running around in that secondary with Kelce.

Unrealistic? Sure

But a thing of beauty it would be

Till this young team clicks ..

Bills have such a weak schedule the rest of the way. They actually could go
16-1. They will host the AFCCG without a doubt. I want nothing more than for the Chiefs to BEAT them in Orchard Park for the right to move on to the SB! Let's freaking GEAUX! WE CAN DO THIS! CHIEFS ROCK!

So i just watched the local sports Cardinals newscast: Guys, really we're fine. I mean, really.

The local sports guy is practically crying onscreen about what a shitshow the Cards are right now. Because, in case some of you didn't see it, the Cards just shit down their legs vs. SEA. They were obvously the more talented team going in, but gave away the ball like 5 times. They don't know what to think in Phx. Is it the coaching, is it the QB, the defense can't stop a runny nose (his words), they're already 0-2 in their division, "forget the playoffs, just need to win a couple games" . . .

They're in a world of shit around here.

We're fine.

We have the best coaching in the league. The best QB. The best TE, a defense that just held the number one scoring offense in the league to just 24 points. When Spags had to start a pair of rooks, one of whom that hadn't taken an NFL snap since week 1, no less, if I heard right.

This was always going to be the toughest game on the schedule, and the Chiefs had two chances to win it, even with all their struggles, whether you want to believe it was on Mahomes, or CEH, or Spags, or MVS, the refs, Frank Clark not getting sick, whatever. So with the offense struggling through most of the game, OBJ and Wylie getting hosed like every other passing play, CEH getting stuffed and tossed around like a ragdoll, Frank Clark not being more like Von Miller because reasons, Skyy Moore not catching enough balls even though he was only targeted 3 times, and the defense giving up 8 yards/att, and Butker missing yet another FG, and Mahomes throwing two interceptions instead of going all Neo and scoring 21 TDs in the last 3 minutes . . .

The Chiefs still lost by just 4 points, and had two shots at the end of the game to steal away with a walk-off win.

Unlike the Az Cardinals right now, the Chiefs are going to learn from this loss, and the outcome will definitely be different next time, I promise you.

Best Twitter reactions from Chiefs' Week 6 loss to Bills
The Kansas City Chiefs fell short at home against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 in heartbreaking fashion. Josh Allen pulled off the late-game comeback victory as Patrick Mahomes could not lead a final drive ending with an interception and a 24-20 Buffalo victory.

Here are some of the best Twitter reactions from the Week 6 loss on Sunday:

Tom Brady said it the other day when they asked him about what he sees in film review of other teams. He said "a ton of bad football around the league." It's very true.

Chiefs aren't perfect, but they can get sharper as the season goes along. The biggest thing of all is avoiding catastrophic injury problems, which is very much a luck of the draw situation for every team.

We’re probably the 3rd best team in the NFL.

We can win a SB. The teams below us aren’t that impressive and the teams above us can be beaten

T-post Tom 10-16-2022 11:37 PM

Ugh. It’s not the end of the world, but I really wanted the Chiefs to win this one.
