I’ve been booted from one game thread in 17 years here by a Mizzou fan for shitting on Spags putting Karlaftis in coverage (which directly led to a touchdown and which half the board also shit on him for). The Mizzou fan later made up a lie (sort of like what you’re doing right now) that I actually criticized Andy Reid and that was the reason for doing the boot. Try again.

LMAO Literally the first search. All from this season where they won a SB. Sure you name isn't Pete? :p

I hate to break it to you but we won’t be winning in the playoffs if the defense keeps allowing 25 points a half (which sadly has nothing to do with Mahomes).

Oh I forgot about this jewel of wanting to sit Mahomes against the Chargers. A divisional game that they won LMAO

If you mean I wanted to rest Mahomes if the game got any worse than it did, absolutely. He's this entire franchise and the season rests on him. Meaningless games in September matter very little to me compared to a potential injury.

I'd love to say Steph, but it's probably Kobe. We had somebody (and not even Arrow) actually still saying Kobe had a better career than LeBron in this thread a week or so ago.

Kobe is the correct answer. Thank you!

LeBron of course came back sooner than anybody anticipated, choosing instead to fight through a debilitating injury (that 2 doctors recommended surgery on) rather than cutting his season short. This entire postseason run is a testament to his resiliency and character in the face of extreme adversity.

Everyone but you at the time of your post knew the Lakers were at least making the play in regardless of lebron or not. You also just stated that it was a totally different team but in actuality it was this exact team that you made that comment. And LeBron would have been sitting on a beach somewhere crutching the doctors excuse had the team not put it together without him. Regardless of the supposed doctors recommended surgery, it was LeBron who saw the possibility of gutting it out or not. And chose not to until he thought he could piggyback on an upgraded team. Even he saw the team as a threat in the west before you did.

Yeah, that's bullshit. They needed both LeBron and AD to play and stay healthy (an unlikely proposition) to make the play-in and both fortunately did for the first time in what was literally a couple of years.

You know somebody hates LeBron when they won't even give him credit for playing through a serious injury. Instead, it's that he's taken advantage of an "upgraded team." LMAO

I see I really touched a nerve this time with the fraud Curry bashing if you've gone to these lengths to pull particular comments out of random game threads over a multi-year period.

Anyway, I'm well known for shitting on the officiating in the NFL and the Chiefs' defense (which has been average only one time in Mahomes' entire tenure). All of those posts that you've pulled pertain to that and none of them claim the Chiefs have no chance of winning a SB. Any team with Patrick Mahomes has a chance to win a SB and I have always maintained that.

This was at the point where Mahomes had taken repeated massive hits in a game against the Chargers with no end seemingly in sight (I'm assuming OBJ was the culprit but I don't recall). You're right, I don't want the team's best player and only reason they are a SB contender to get hurt in a meaningless regular season game (and yes, for a franchise like the Chiefs at this point, regular season games are almost all meaningless, even divisional games).

The only thing that matters to the Chiefs every year is Mahomes being healthy and playable in the playoffs. If that is the case, they have a chance to win a SB every year (even with a below average defense). He is that good.

They were doing just fine making it to the play in game without LeBron.

And I don't try to disguise my dislike for LeBron. I also don't try to disparage him to try to make some case that someone else is a better player. I dislike him, while also acknowledging he's the best player of this generation (as in post jordan).

I don't care what you say about Curry it doesn't bother me in the least. I am just flipping you some shit.

You are right about one thing, we have Mahomes and we have a chance every year.

It would certainly make it a hell of a lot easier if he ever actually got some help though.

Both you and this stat are conveniently ignoring that Manning was pretty awful early in his career. He didn't become the best QB in the league until around 2003, which was six years into his career. If you focus on the actual period that I referred to (2003-2010), nobody came close to being statistically better than Manning.

But he didn’t play in his forties. Brady: SIX YEARS

Also Brady’s first six years were a QB rating 88 so if maggot gets that excuse so does brady

I'm aware of all of this. It still has absolutely nothing to do with Manning's peak years (2003-2010) or that he was undeniably the best QB in football during them.

A growing number of places for Nick Nurse to end up.
