The refs literally removed one team from the playoffs and inserted another.

There was no reason to NOT review that fumble. The whistle never blew and the Chiefs returned it for a TD.

But the head ref gave the ball back to the Chargers because the runner got enough yards to get a first down before fumbling....................................

They are calling it forward progress to cover thier asses. The whistle wasn't blown until we ran in the endzone, therefore, they didn't call forward progress stopped. It's clear as day if you go back and watch it.

Apparently there wasn't a whistle blown.

But it doesn't matter.
