I am going to say both. It was a ****ing weed pipe. Those bastards charged me for paraphernalia and weed. Saying that there was weed resin in the bowl.

A pipe that bastard hid in the back seat.

Total ****ing money grab.

Yeah, they will charge you if you just have seeds too. Did you apply for a diversion?

Yeah. They gave me the diversion but charged me out the ass. The fines were crazy plus you pay more for the diversion.

Thankfully that was in my younger and dumber stage of my life.

I was fortunate enough to share a very similar event with you. Plus the $1500 for the lawyer. They told me when I was arrested they thought I was moving close to 10 pounds a week. I wasn’t even selling, I was just smoking :)

Like I said

As the driver, you must know the people that ride with you and what they have with them. If they have stashed drugs in your car, then you are in possession.

Possession in a Vehicle
In most cases, if someone has drugs or drug paraphernalia in their pocket or on their person, you can argue that you are not responsible. However, if the drugs are in the car — that’s fair game,

No shit, in your car… In a rental that shit could come out of nowhere especially after being jarred in a wreck. We use to find anything from weapons (guns knives) drugs (pills coke weed) to large sums of cash. People are ****ing dumb and leave shit behind all the time.

She’s as wrong as you are about Texas controlled substance possession law.

Knowing possession has to be proven.

Getting your legal advice from a lawyer’s marketing website where the lawyer is trying to scare would-be clients into hiring their services… is Reeruned.

But par for the course for QueenPriest. LMAO

She doesn't even list pot and it's a controlled substance... She's clueless.

Lol it still matters. He was the one responsible for the car. Lol. Really not hard to understand. You’re not good at this are you?

And if one of the passengers deliberately snuck the drugs into the vehicle and concealed it from the driver… under your “rationale”, the driver is supposed to be clairvoyant? Have X-ray vision to still be aware of the drug’s existence?

LMAO

It’s a waste of the prosecutor’s time. They aren’t going to have shit unless it’s tied to the renter.
