Not sure how much mention there has been of this on here, but FWIW Justin March seems to have stepped into the starting role next to DJ this week.

So much vitroil for a guy who's been nothing but a class act his entire time as a Chief.

Second series:

1st & 10, Dee Ford shed his blocker, got into the backfield, but he was too far inside and Christine Micheal just ran RIGHT around him to the edge. Good shedding, bad containment.

2nd & 2: splits a double team to get the stuff with DJ taking out the ankles. His best play by far.

3rd & 2: They ran up the middle, Ford not involved.

4th & 1: - FB up the middle, Ford grabs him, pulling him backwards into the backfield, but it's too late. Forward progress gives him the 1st down. Ford came from the side/behind. Not in on initial tackle.

1st & 10: Shotgun, Ford goes in coverage on RB, pass thrown to other side of the field.

2nd & 5: Ford stood up by RT. Zombo gets into the backfield, wraps up QB on a keep for 2 yard loss. Ford stops fighting. OOOPS! Zombo ****s up, R\QB breaks tackle, runs for 1st down. THIS IS DEE FORD'S WORST PLAY, BECAUSE HE GAVE UP WHEN ZOMBO HAD THE TACKLE. BUT IT IS BY FAR A WORSE PLAY FOR ZOMBO.

1st & 10: Ford pins his ears back. Bull rush. Drives the RT back into Boykin, who overthrows the endzone. Okay, that was impressive and WAY better than I gave him credit for. Won on strength. Also, I thought Peters was beat on this play. ironically, a good throw would have been ANOTHER endzone interception. Peters is so ****ing good.

2nd & 10: Dee Ford gets into backfield unimpeded. Christine Michael is already gone, running DIRECTLY AT ZOMBO for another big gain. I'm noticing a pattern, here... Zombo got beat at the POA and pushed seven yards out of the play. Terrible.

3rd & 1: Ford bites HARD on the PA fake. It was the simplest Madden play call ever. Run left. Then, fake the exact same run play, bootleg back around. Ford bit on it. Holding call saved a big gain.

3rd & 11: Ford is gone. DJ Alexander on a blitz. Pressure, incomplete. Chris Jones slaps the entire seattle offense with his huge dong.

4th & 11: Punt.

Damn this thread went stupid fast.

Anyone thinking Berry was going to sign before they went back to KC hasn't paid any attention to football that last 10 years. He didn't get a long term deal. This is how it ALWAYS goes.

Holy shit people have gone nuts.

No, it isn't "how it always goes".

Nine out of ten Franchised players in 2016 were at camp Day One.

As usual, you're ill-informed.

The difference is that Berry's holdout isn't about money. He's guaranteed to earn $10.8 million the second he signs his tender.

Now, if he wants to sit out this year in the hopes that the Chiefs just release him so he can play elsewhere, that's his right. But he won't see a cent of the $10.8 million.

Nobody is saying he's sitting out the year, correct?

In probably 72 hours the last 150 posts will an exercise in futility.

Berry is one of probably a handful of guys who missing camp is going to have minimal negative impact, especially at low safety.

From a personal POV, I couldn't care less when Berry arrives. I've said he's been way overrated by the fan base since 2013, so no biggie.

Who knows if he'll sit out the year? I highly doubt it but no one knows the thinking because his agent and Berry have been silent.

If he wants his $10.8 million, he'll show up before Game 1.

pugsnotdrugs19 08-16-2016 07:46 PM

Berry will be here, likely right after camp breaks if I had to say....

and when he is back, the team will be better for it. It's that simple. Business aside, the 2016 Chiefs are better off with him, and the future past that is very much unclear as far as him being here or not.

Your reading comprehension is 0.00%.

No wonder you live in a shit hole, have a 19" TV while relegated to dating women that previously had kids with other men.

You're quite the prize.

KeiVarae Russell, a rookie, has more pride about being a Chief than Berry. Alshon Jeffrey, another great player in his position, is more willing to set his ego aside and report to camp. There's a contradiction here when you're telling me this guy is the ultimate leader.

Being the leader and the face of a team calls for a little extra. It's only fair when you're saying he should be paid more than his play says he should due to that quality.

you are an embarrassing dumbass

there's a whole list of people in this thread that I'm going to assume have temporarily lost their minds, because saying some of this shit about a cancer survivor and meaning it makes you a shitty ****ing person....

It's true.
