All we are debating is whether you want Gutiérrez or Oliveres getting PT. I think that’s an obvious answer, but in the end, it’s the question.

Nicky Lopez seems to be getting serious at bats to prove he can't hit. |

Let's bring up the almost 36 year old who was dropped by AZ because of a 9.76 ERA this year and has had a negative War since 2018. He will pair nicely with Wade. |

O'Hearn is the classic AAAA player. McBroom the same.

You're counting a 60 game Covid season? Semantics... Semantics... If he's that good, why is he not here to sub for Benny? |

So, of the 8 K's last night, Soler (.187) and Dozier (.148) had 2 apiece. :shake:
Although, Soler did have a hit. He also accounted for 5 LOB, and Dozier 2 LOB. |
I really think it would do Dozier some good to send him down for a couple weeks -if he has options. That worked for Moose when he was going through this. Apparently our hitting coach and Dozier just aren't on the same page. We can't have three or four guys in the lineup hitting .220 or worse, and it happens all the time here. Soler should be embarrassed. Mondi comes in and hits a monster shot his first night back. Soler's K rate this season has been astronomical, especially if he's hitting fifth or sixth in the lineup. Lopez had a very good game last night. Like to see him be able to hit around .250 or .260. If he can do that consistently, he'll stick at second. Very satisfying win last night in front of a big crowd. Its good not to crap the bed in front of a big crowd.
