there's a whole list of people in this thread that I'm going to assume have temporarily lost their minds, because saying some of this shit about a cancer survivor and meaning it makes you a shitty ****ing person....

Please explain how a cancer survivor, who is apparently unhappy that he didn't receive the largest contract in NFL history at his position, some how gets a pass for not attending Training Camp, despite the fact he'll be the highest paid safety in the NFL in 2016.

Thanks in advance.

No, you're a ****ing idiot that lacks reading comprehension and critical thinking.

Just because Eric Berry had cancer doesn't mean he's free of any criticism. I already said I love Berry, and appreciate everything he's done. I just don't see this ultimate leader bullshit.

Like I said, what makes Berry more of a leader than Jamaal Charles?

I'm not even saying he's not a leader, all I'm really saying is he's overrated in the department, and not the leader that Hali, Charles, and Maclin are.

Keep pretending I hate Berry though because I don't see him as a ****ing angel because he got cancer. The cancer is absolutely irrelevant in this conversation, unless you want to bring up how the organization stood by him and didn't make the "business decision" and he never even acknowledged or showed any kind of appreciation publicly.

Yeah he wasn't near as bad as CP made it sound.

RobBlake 08-16-2016 08:28 PM

you should allow him to **** your wife, I mean.. he's a cancer survivor and all

How could anyone know what kind of leader he is unless you've been on the field or in the locker room with the guy?

Because true leadership doesn't end on the field or in the locker room. It extends beyond that when you're supposed to be THE leader.

I'm not knocking him in that aspect. I'm knocking how he's handled this situation, and how it's all about the money, and always has been.

I clearly said he's one of the leaders on the team, but just ignore that I guess.

I'm just done saying he's THE leader. That honor goes to guys like Maclin, Charles, and Hali.

I love maclin, but he's a year away from taking the best free agent deal he could get from another team.

I think there's alot of leaders here. That's what makes them such a good team. Lotta leadership

Would you not agree that the narrative is that Berry is the leader of the team though?

And while Maclin hosted Wilson and Conley at his home for six weeks in a effort to help guys improve, Berry distanced himself from the Chiefs.

#Leader.

I would consider houston to be moreso on the defense, but who knows.

So he hasn't had any contact with any of the other chief players?
