Picky? A guy lining up clearly offsides is pretty much the most obvious call you can make in a sport with this kind of subjectivity of interpretation.

You line up first, then check with the ref; so really at the end of the day, if you’re lined up a foot past where you’re supposed to be, it’s just entirely on you. No other way to feel sorry for you or explain it away.
