I'll never understand why there are "technicalities" that prevent a play from being reviewed.

I would think the most important thing would be getting the call right, but that's just me. It was pretty ****ing clear that forward progress was not stopped before the ball came out.

I'm sure we'll get a nice letter from the league office.

No one gives a shit about the loss. The Chiefs were locked into the 5th seed win or lose.

This is about a team that doesn't belong in the playoffs being in the playoffs due to an obviously blown call.

Why was it blown? Wasn't it dead when his helmet came off?

He didnt even have the ball when his helmet came off.

The play was ruled dead because of some phantom forward progress call when no whistle was ever blown.

Bummer.

I'm guessing this whole deal is payback for the calls Pitt got in the SB against Seattle.

So why wouldn't they at least review where the ball was when the helmet came off?

Sure-Oz 12-29-2013 08:32 PM

I'm irritated that the Chiefs kicker can't make a 41 yarder in a no pressure game to win. Also the NFL refs just keep ****ing up...dude fumbled and shouldve been a defensive td or possession at minimum.

Steelers fans have to be sick lol

the strip came before that........and the forward progress that was made thereafter gave the bolts the first down.

By your logic, the ball should have been spotted a yard to two yard back - and a measurement should have taken place.
