Get this, of all things Self was bitching about in his post game pressor he was mad that Diallo didnt challenge a dunk on the very last possessiom of the game during garbage time. I mean, WTF Self. You sidnt go to bat for Diallo when the Selden, Ellis, Graham and Mason apparently threw Diallo under the bus.

I'm pretty sure at this point (barring some kind of OU road upset or other unexpected road wins) that this KU team won't win conference this year, though. OU is just significantly better than us. So I definitely understand the short term pain/long term gain argument. |

You have to let him develop because he has the ability to be an IMPACT player. You deal with the struggles in the season because by the time March rolls around he is a top flight player. You end up going far in the tournament (something we have not done recently). Kentucky plays their highly touted recruits. With the exception of last year, they usually encounter early season struggles. By the time March rolls around, they seem to go deep every year. We haven't been going deep. Hell, we've been getting upset by teams WAY OUT OF OUR LEAGUE. We got beat by Wichita last year. We weren't even the best team in the state. Thats absolutely embarrassing for this program which is highly decorated and well known for a winning standard. Playing the freshman is best for the long term, and boosts the teams chances of winning a National Title. They won't win with this current group of players. I hope I'm wrong but nothing looks different from the last few years that featured the same core players. |

Recruiting turnoff. |
OU only beat OSU by 2, and it should have been a OU loss.
KU had an off night with a OSU crowd and hurt feelings of Self not coming home to old T Boone Pickins wallet. It's going to be tough to get a share of the B12 this year with Baylor beating OU. KU has a harder schedule left than OU does. |

Kenpom has KU as the 4th best team in the Big 12. Cant say I disagree

What an ugly game. We always play like dog balls there, but JFC. That last foul by Selden was an embodiment of the ****ass that degraded to pure ****ing shit that played out on the court. They've very likely lost the conference, barring a slowdown by Hield et. al. Had to end some time. I guess it just as well happen with a soft ass team like this one, rather than a team that plays with toughness and gets outplayed down the stretch. Or maybe they can get their ****ing nuts out of their mom's purse and ****ing take what's theirs. The ****ing pussies. That being said, GO KU! |
