this adjustment to RB splitting out with Ward was flawless

One week after some questionable empty checks, the Chiefs defense shored up the call several times, including this zero blitz.

21p, RBs shift out wide. Their only TD really shouldn't have happened either. Mathieu almost had too much time to decide how he wanted to catch that.

I think he lost it in the lights...

I did think that for a second when he motioned to the Chief next to him like an outfielder would if that happened.

Defense be ballin' baby!

The defense can actually say "no disrespect to Patrick" with a straight face LMAO

I asked DT Derrick Nnadi about this: “We want to go out in a game and not have to rely on Patrick to seal the game,” said Nnadi, who also had an INT tonight. “No disrespect to him, but we as a defense got to carry our load. So, when it came down to it, we were able to do it.” https://t.co/7D1CuSIBj8
— Herbie Teope (@HerbieTeope) November 19, 2019

Tonight i thought the defense finally showed some real grit. A very good sign.

If they continue to improve they might be ready for the playoffs. If this is the real Frank Clark and not just because he faced a rookie then it will help a ton.

Frank Clark and Chris Jones should be our DE's from now on.

Nnadi and Pennel as our DTs

Saunders, Kpass,Okafor as our primary backups.

I don’t think it’s particularly funny.

Nnadi recognizes that Mahomes carries the load and they want to get off the short bus. Props to him for saying the right things without throwing dudes under the bus.

I don’t disagree.

I’m fairly reeruned when it comes to in the weeds Xs and Os but it sure seems like when we stop the run we have to change scheme to do it and other dudes are running wide open on play action. I could be wrong but it sure seems exploitable.

Good news is we shut Jackson down once already and Sony Michele can’t catch a pass for Cheatriot.

Hammock Parties 11-19-2019 01:24 AM

17 points

we gave up 17 points to a team that absolutely nuked us last year defensively

941 total yards and 56 points in two games

you get to fondle steve's balls for two weeks
