Both Suggs and Clark got steady penetration today.
We just didn't cover the dump off passes well enough. |
He definitely played better the 2nd half of the season than he did the first. He's been more and more disruptive, which is good. I find it absolutely comical that so many here think people didn't have a right to call him out for his performance the first half of the season though. That said, just glad he's turned it around and has looked like the 50 tkl/12 sack guy he's expected to be. Hopefully, the week of rest has him 100% for the playoff games and ready to wreak havoc.

Frank Clark (and ****ing) Suggs!!!!
|
Can you do Thornhill now? We need you to work your Mr. Miyagi on him next
|
Suggs and Clark were dominant -- 4 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, a pass defended and 5 QB hits. As a duo they brought it.

Great last 3rd of the season.

Poster in-fighting aside, this is the best outcome for the Chiefs. Clark being injured as an explanation for low impact early
In the year is really what you had to hope of worrying early about his performance. If they get this Clark for the rest of the deal, he’s a massive upgrade from Ford (which is what they paid for in salary and draft capital). |

@RealMNchiefsfan: Frank Clark's last 8 games: 7 sacks, 11 QB hits, 9 tackles for loss, 3 passes batted down.
He's quietly been one of the most productive defenders in the league. |
