I would be more than happy with Dillard because it would allow us to sign Linsley and/or somebody like Corey Davis or Carl Lawson.

I agree.

The guy gave up 1 sack in his last year of college and was known as a top notch pass protector as a prospect.

Maybe Veach wants to see what it would take for Trent Williams and Dillard is his backup plan if it’s too much.

If they are penciling in Allegretti at center, then I think they look to draft a IOL in the second or third. If you are able to land a kid like Meinerz he's your starting guard and future center.

LDT is nothing more than a one year stop gap at this point. I think it makes a ton of sense for KC to be hunting for a center in this draft, just not in the 1st round.

There are two reasons to root for Trent Williams to the Chiefs.

1. Top 3 LT in the league blocking for Mahomes.
2. Penbrook doesn’t post for a month.

Bad thing for the Niners. They are in one of the most expensive places to live in the country. Veach could use this against them. A dollar in KC goes a lot further than San Fran. There is also the Mahomes factor. Which QB do you want to play with? Jimmy Grapes or Mahomes?
