I haven't followed this thread so I don't know if you are a soccer fan or troll. All I know is that I've followed soccer closely for 30 years now and it's in a better place than it was even ten years ago as far as support and being accepted on a world stage.

I agree that ratings are up big time and it is going in the right direction. Many on this board do not understand that Soccer is many times more popular then any other sport as far as the world is concerned.

Thing is [and this is true for all touch lines] the ball has to COMPLETELY cross, is so much as the skin of the ball is in the plane created by the touch line, it hasn't crossed yet, and yes the side judge [who also calls offsides] should be on the touch line.

That said, the ball was a full ball width past touch, and England got jobbed.
