Might have been discussed before in the thread, but I've been training & pushing hard as of lately. A teammate of mine, that I'm friends with off the ice, has said a few times that I'm drinking TOO much water.

I'm not an expert on this and online has given me some "meh" answers. Any truth to it??

Thank you sir, this was my initial thought.

He played Juniors in Canada & is going off what his coaches preached there. So it's the only reason why I initially questioned it.

Thanks bud.

There might be.

I had an issue a couple of years back where I was getting wicked cramps all of the time. I brought it up during a physical and the Dr said that I was flushing out all of the electrolytes by drinking too much water. Without enough electrolytes your body doesn't make use of the water that you do drink. Viscous circle kind of thing.

I cut back a bit on the water and the cramps let up. So cut back or up your electrolyte intake.

He didn't say he was having any problems, so I didn't even think about this. But you're right -- it *could*.

When you're training hard, it's far better to up your electrolyte intake. You need to replace as much water as you lose through sweating.

Your body wants as much water as you can give it while you're going hard like that, unless you're that chick who died from drinking water in that Wee for a Wii contest a few years back.

You must have missed the BigCatDaddy topless pic from a few months ago. Dude is straight jacked and has more muscle mass than guy in video. I'd give my left nut for that. Not that being super vascular isn't cool but give me a bit more mass and some leanness anyday.

I appreciate his prowess but in a suit on the street corner he's just a 5'7" ugly guy. He'd better be funny or have a big dick.

I started off a little over a month ago on my very last belt hole, I'm now down to number 4... arms, chest, lats, traps and legs are puffing up and getting tight, the cheekbones are popping out, everything is so much more comfortable to wear, I don't tire out at work like I used to.

In short, I'm loving it... feeling and looking good.

You got nudes to back this up? Of course you can still wear the belt to demonstrate what hole you are on. Oh, and please include a spoon in the pic.

No, that's cool Scotty. If you are happy that's what counts man. Just make it a life long habit.

LMAO gimme a few more months to get ready, I'm still not quite up to snuff for the oiled up nudes... its gonna take a more than a month or two to work off the years of slothful living.

But its gonna happen, I'll pm you the pics later :D

Working on getting 200g of protein a day and varying my carb intake depending on my run schedule.

Weekends will be a challenge.

I donated blood for the first time yesterday and was wondering if it would affect my workout today. So far it doesn't seem like it is.

Now I'm curious to see if it'll affect recovery.
