If we get Trent Williams it is because he wants a ring and to play with Mahomes. If you think you are somehow convincing a player making 20m a year that KC is better than San Francisco because real estate is cheaper you are living in a dream world.

there's a lot more to it than real estate prices. Taxes for example.

but yes, winning and being competitive in the salary offer would be paramount.

I didn't realize until just now that Trent Williams hasn't played a full 16 game season since 2013.

If they sign him, I sure hope the Chiefs have a better backup than Remmers.

According to Spotrac, he's earned $108 million so far in his career so he should be chasing a ring, not a payday...
