Texas is literally the home of all 75% of all street racing in the damn world and no one gets hammered like that. Look up tx2k videos. Yall are acting like this is a one off incident. Dallas and Houston see worse than this any given Friday or Saturday night.

Yes. It's the easiest way to study.

Assuming you're referring to me, explain how correcting someone and posting the CORRECT laws of the state is wanting or inferring that Rashee is going to receive or deserves a felony sentence. Grow up.

I'll wait.

Based on Texas law, I am racing on the highway almost every day I drive. To be realistic, words mean things and proving "intentionally" is much more difficult in legal terms.

Texas Transportation Code Section 545.420 - Racing on Highway
Texas law defines street racing broadly. It includes the use of one or more vehicles in an attempt to:
  • Outgain or outdistance another vehicle: Trying to be faster than another vehicle.
  • Prevent another vehicle from passing: Intentionally blocking or hindering another vehicle from overtaking.
  • Arrive at a given destination ahead of another vehicle: Racing to get somewhere first.
  • Test the physical stamina or endurance of a driver over a long-distance route: Endurance-based racing challenges.
Key Points and Examples:
  • It's not just drag racing: The definition goes beyond traditional drag racing and encompasses various competitive driving behaviors on public roads.
  • Examples include:
    • Two cars racing to see who's faster over a specific distance.
    • Aggressive driving to prevent someone from changing lanes or passing.
    • Several cars weaving through traffic to reach a destination the quickest.
  • Location: The offense applies to any public highway or road, not just designated racetracks.
Consequences
Street racing in Texas is a Class B Misdemeanor. Penalties can include:
  • Fines
  • Jail time
  • Driver's license suspension
Important Note: If someone is injured or killed due to street racing, the charges can be elevated to felonies with significantly more severe consequences.
Let me know if you would like more details about the specific penalties or have other related questions!

I know, I know...the laws on the books don't matter because ________.

Dudes....he had his playbook in his RENTAL vehicle. Hes so ****in locked in he didnt even have it in his own vehicle because he wants to be studying and absorbing himself in chiefs football every chance he can get.

Locked in.

We good!

ThrobProng 04-08-2024 10:35 AM

All that matters is what punishment the NFL hands down, if any. We all know his legal punishment will be squat.

And now it is evidence, so probably means the entire contents of the Chiefs playbook go into the public record. Time to start over, Andy.

Not sure if you are being serious or not. IANAL, but I am pretty sure if they don't go to trial, there would be no public record about this evidence and likely the property would be returned? Also, hopefully the team's playbook is a tablet, not paper. If not, I am not sure what we are doing here - being able to track the playbook and wipe it remotely seems like a no-brainer.

irafreak 04-08-2024 10:59 AM

Ah so more 4d chess by Reid. Have known athlete get into legal issue with playbook to be confiscated as evidence. Leaked playbook is then studied all offseason by chiefs opponents and Andy uses odd variations of every single play to put up points in what will eventually be known as the most potent offense in nfl history on the way to the 3 peat. Brilliance!

I actually thought you had to turn in your playbook at the end of the year? Probably misheard, maybe just needed to turn in the tablet.

Didn't hear any mention of a tablet. If that's what it was I would think they would just call it that, because it could contain any content.

I'm referring to the total shit people are pulling out their ass without taking 1 minute to even verify what they're typing. This is just one of a million examples in this thread.

Hey dumb****er, how is that different than what I said. Unless they have proof they were racing from point a to point b, based on text or confession from one of the other occupants, all they have is the video showing Rice incorrectly passing on the left.

Wisconsin_Chief 04-08-2024 11:59 AM

Should I safely assume this dude is missing 8 games next year? Or is it more like 4?

Someone give me a number so I can leave this insane thread! :)

Hey, they rhyme.

I'm sorry for trying to bring facts into this thread. The Texas tooth fairy is going to come down and tap Rashee with her magic wand.

I'm bringing up the laws on the books you and your cronies are the delusional douche that wants to stick your fingers in your ears an "LA, LA, LA, LA" like they don't exist.

Continue your circle jerk. I regret coming in here. I'm leaving for DC. At least expect the ignorance and stupidity.
