Define right. Alabama is one of the 4 best teams in the country right now and FSU isn't.

If the goal is selecting the best teams, they at least accomplished that goal in that respect.

For whatever reason, folks seem to want us to pretend FSU is one of the 4 best teams in college football when they clearly are not. I don't get it at all.

Sorry Georgia, you've been great for several years but you've been a little vulnerable at times this year, you aren't a conference champ and you have the same record as several other teams. You essentially have the same resume as Ohio State. Better luck next year.

Michigan, Washington, Alabama and Texas. It just seems too easy for them to **** it up.

You aren't going to have no SEC teams in. You aren't going to put UGA in over 'Bama. And if you put Bama in, you can't keep Texas out for Georgia when Texas beat 'Bama on the road.

This is just a no brainer to me. But we shall see...

This really was an impossible decision. Every team in this was going to have an argument backed by some kind of legit statistic. Even Georgia, they were #1 all year and now they're out. That's tough. Alabama beat Georgia which is an elite win. But Texas beat Alabama on their own field by double digits. That has to count for something or why play games at all.

On the other hand, it is true that the SEC had a losing out of conference record this year against the other power 5 conferences. Florida State beat two SEC teams including LSU who is pretty solid. I think Alabama is the better team for sure but on the actual field of play the results don't quite line up that the SEC had their most dominant year. I'm sure FSU will hold on to that forever and it's not wrong. There are going to be arguments for all these teams that are tied into facts and the results on the field.

Yeah, I might have been more surprised by Bama in previous years, say if they played each other twice, but feel like the SEC isn't as deep now, so UGA kind of needed that win. They didn't have a crazy better schedule than Bama to justify negating head to head.
