Not only a 99 in Madden, and an ALL world CB ..... but just a one of kind guy OFF the field. Completely UN-Raider like.

It's called scouting. Watching other players (as well as the Chiefs).

Are you telling me that you didn't have a bad feeling about the 2004 Chiefs when they stunk it up in the preseason on offense? I did. And it took them 8 games to get a win (including preseason).

Don't discount pre-season games. You definitely get an idea of talent and depth.

And if guys can ****ing catch the ball.

And it's FOOTBALL for ****'s sake!!!

Preseason.

You can't stress this enough during the month of August every year.
1/2 of the 3rd preseason game may give you a glimmer though.

Yeah. I'm getting from the re-run of the philly/pats game that Philly's line is umm....bad.

Oh and I hate Squirmin Herman.

Watching how the team performs in individual situations is fine. The final score, however, doesn't really matter as the OP implies.

I got tired of GoChiefs Pollard BS, and decided to retaliate. The pic/animation if from LJ's blog that GoChiefs gets all "teen beat" about.

I just do not take that much stock in preseason.

Well, then you and I are different.

I like to see recievers run their routes and catch the football.

I like to see running backs fight for yards.

I like to see the special teams.

I like to see new talent.

I like to see the attitude of the team.

I've been watching preseason for 30 years and it's always informative.

The score doesn't matter, but the game gives you a good idea of what the team's overall energy, competence, direction, and focus are made of.

Haha, didn't Haley tear him down so bad he asked to be released?

Rumor mill.

I only bring it up because he just made a kick ass catch in the Faid end zone.

No offense, but this is why people repeatedly predict the Chiefs will be 8-8, 9-7 or 10-6.

They don't watch preseason football.

They just party.
