Sure, why not? Dude has an impressive track record and you know he's take a QB.

That's what I was thinking too.

I thought they run him out of town for nearing Pioli's level of douchebaggery?

Built the Bills into a 4 time contender
Built the Panthers from scratch -- they went deep playoffs year 4
Built the Colts and got a ring

Ya, i'd give him a shot

He was fired after their 3rd Super Bowl loss.

Bought a ton of aging veterans in Carolina and set back the franchise a decade.

Without Peyton Manning, his record was 7-27.

Run out of town for not only sucking but for being a dick.

I have to say I don't get these arguments sometimes. We sit here and argue about how without a QB, you're nothing... then we downgrade coaches and GM's who don't have good record when the QB they drafted is hurt or not playing. Well duh. That's why they drafted the guy in the first place.

I'm not sure I'd want the guy at this stage of his career, I think he might just be trying to weasel his son into a job again... but there literally may not be a better GM in the last 25 years than Polian.

BlackHelicopters 10-28-2012 12:20 PM

No thanks.

This. I remember their we're several around here that advocated Chris Polian back in 08 when the Chiefs were searching for a GM.

No thanks one egomaniac gm is enough.

You saw what the team became after manning.

You mean they were smart enough to take a dive to go from Manning to Luck w/1 fell swoop? I wouldn't count Indy out this year.

If you think the Colts and Jim Irsay purposely tanked the season in order to possibly lose enough to draft Andrew Luck, you're dumber than I thought.

7-27 without Manning.

Please explain how that is even remotely acceptable.

And you do realize that he ran the colts with the same Gestapo iron fist pioli does in kc, right?

lots of GM's have an ironfist

don't know why people are so freaked out about Pioli doing it.

The talent level is good, if we get a QB then Pioli will be doing ok.

(although i don't much like Daboll)
