The trash cans took more punishment than that.

Don't follow baseball but if any league wants to get serious about cheating take away any accomplishments derived through said cheating.

Wow, rumblings that Alex Cora is going to get destroyed. He did it not once, but twice.
Imagine if the red Sox and pats get rung up at the same time. What a beautiful year to be a sports fan. |
But they get to keep the ring?
|
The $5M is nothing but a slap on the wrist. How many owners wouldn't pay $5M for a flag and that kind of multi-season run?
But the draft picks is a major kick in the junk. And they deserve it no doubt. Losing 2 picks in the top 60ish in consecutive years is a pretty strong deterrent. They don't quite have the payroll of the big boys, so hitting on the draft and having a GM as smart as Lunhow has gone a long way to making them as good as they've been lately. Along with cheating, I suppose! |
This just keeps getting better and better

Not severe enough; their pennants should have gotten pulled.

[Passan] Even though Astros manager AJ Hinch disagreed with the use of video -- going so far as to damage a monitor used in the scheme multiple times to show his disapproval -- he was still suspended for a year.
[Passan] "Witnesses consistently describe this new scheme as player-driven ... with the exception of Cora." What in the ****? Why aren't the players being held accountable? |

Pretty rough 24 hours for Houston sports fans. LMAO

Red Sox should just get out ahead of this and fire Cora. It's not like there's any chance he will be exonerated.
|
That's a shame. Bad couple of days for Houston sports. LMAO

I firmly believe the two bronco titles should be addressed this way. Aside from knowing what the opposing team is going to do in advance, there is no greater competitive advantage than having more money to fill out your roster than the rest of the league. |
