#HenneThingIsPossible (but no)

pugsnotdrugs19 01-18-2021 02:25 PM

If Allen got hurt too yeah.

Gary Cooper 01-18-2021 02:28 PM

Of course we "could". We're not a college team led by Chad Henne at QB. If the defense forces turnovers and he doesn't throw any ducks on 1st and 25, we can pull it off.

My money would be on Buffalo, though. We all know the importance of the QB position in the playoffs. We had good teams with Alex Smith but could never get over the hump. Alex Smith was a lot better than Chad Henne.

Yes because I don't think the Bills are honestly that good and Allen is fairly unproven..

Absurd comments.

Realistically no.

Henne showed some heart yesterday, but I just don't think he's very good. We'd have to get incredibly lucky.

Pablo 01-18-2021 02:32 PM

Yeah like 2/10 times we could. With Pat its 8/10.

Bearcat 01-18-2021 02:33 PM

I'd say it swings from a healthy Mahomes-led team winning 7 or 8 times out of 10, to a Henne-led team winning maybe 3 times out of 10?

At the same time, there's been so much hype around them and the Browns, Ravens, etc.... and it's all been bullshit up to this point.

It's hard to give them more than a ~25-30% chance of winning in that case, but my mind is set on it being the freakin' AFCCG, and thinking Henne could lead them to the Super Bowl just doesn't compute. LMAO

Let's not **** around and find out.

They were outplayed and should have lost to a Phillip Rivers-led Colts team two weeks ago and Allen/the Bills offense did virtually nothing against the Ravens for most of the game this past week before relying on Lamar to throw a 100 yard pick six to win.

I'm glad you're so confident in them, though.

DaFace 01-18-2021 02:39 PM

I think it would be a closer game than people would expect, but I think it's a long shot.

tredadda 01-18-2021 02:42 PM

Maybe, but it would be very tough. Would need a A game from the defense and running game. Very little room for error.

Yeah, the Ravens had a more impressive regular season last year than the Bills this year and it didn't mean shit when it came to their playoff performance.

The Bills have the higher ceiling, but certainly haven't looked like it in the past couple weeks.

I'll laugh my ass off if they get steamrolled this weekend, because I really do want to believe it'll be a good game and that they're worth at least some of the hype.

Sure, we could. We'd need the running game to do great or some breaks to fall in our favor. Outside of that one awful pick, Henne has looked pretty functional.
