WINDOW SHMINDOW!!!! What's everyone's concern with this "window of opportunity" thing. Our 'D' is on the way up and all we have to do is to make sure we keep up the quality of our O-line and we are still a good team every year. It's not like we have spent ourselves silly and now we cannot recover.

I was afraid this would be true. The 1-4 start seems to have confirmed it.

We're a former sexy also-ran sliding into the abyss. I doubt if we'll be competitive again for years, and only a handful of the guys currently on the team will be around to see it.

What a waste. And a cruel fucking joke.

:shake:

He's such an ass. I can't stand that guy.

Yes, the Chiefs have sucked so far this season, but I don't think their window is closed. They could come back and do great things next year. Who knows. But I'll swear that Jack Harry would do a happy dance if the Chiefs went 0-16. That guy is the most negative ass on local TV. :cuss:

He is not an ass and is likely correct. Today the Chargers became better than the Chiefs. Right now the Chiefs will be lucky to win 6 games.

Yes, Jack Harry is likely correct about the Chiefs.

But yes, he IS an ass. Being right this ONE time doesn't change that.

Your kidding right? Being sarcastic? after next year at the latest Priest, Roaf, Shields and Richardson will be gone. Tony G will be in his 30's. Tren Green will be 35? And just how do you think we are going to replace all that talent in one year when we stood pat after a 13-3 year?

I think we are cooked this year but if Priest comes back we will have another shot before the window closes completly. If Priest retires...all bets are off. Rebuild, trade Tony G..gut the place.

Jack Harry has this strange relationship with WHB. It's like they treat him like he's some sort of local icon that everyone has loved for years like Buck O'Neal or something, but he's just a an old grumpy sportscaster that likes baseball more than football and (like every media memeber) has a personal grudge against Carl Peterson.

That's exactly what happens when you stand pat because it takes way too much to add necassary talent to make huge improvements all at once. So, when you do stand pat, you do fall behind as it effects not only the present year, but later ones as well. It's made even worse when you draft poorly... :shake:

But the CHIEFS still do have $6 MILLION under the cap and every game at ARROWHEAD is sold out... :hmmm:

1-15 ISn't so bad... Think of the possiblities.

#1 overall pick:
We could trade down 5-8 spots and get a chit load of quality draft picks.

Season ticket holders cancel subscriptions:
I can move from the 5YL on the lower level to around the 35-50 YL.

Our defense will be much improved with the extra draft picks etc.

Plus a GREAT schedule for next year.

1-15 isn't so bad this year.

That will be the #2 pick. Miami will get #1 at 0-16.

Sounds GREAT.

Unless Carl and Vermeil are still here.
