Wacky Racers. I really liked the ensemble cast and the fact that endings were unpredictable. You never knew who would win that week's race.

I remember some of the Saturday morning cartoons being, Transformers, He-man, the Smurfs, the Snorkles (basically underwater smurfs), Looney Tunes, and I found the Hair Bears on Cartoon Network the other day. I was a little older, but my nephew would watch X-Men on Saturday mornings when I was babysitting him for a while. There were more, but I've slept several times since then.
I've noticed that there aren't really Saturday morning cartoons as I remember them anymore. Once shows like Saved by the Bell and City Guys came on, cartoons became extinct. Now it's educational type shows that they borrow from the Discovery Channel. Poors kids get enough education at school during the week. Bring back cartoons!!!! |

At some point when I was a little kid, I realized that I knew about Mickey, but I had never seen him in a cartoon. To this day, I don't think I've ever seen him, other than introducing a skit on the old Walt Disney Show. He's kind of like the J.D. Salinger of cartoon characters. |
By the time Inspector Gadget got over, I didn't have time to walk to school on time, so I was late nearly every day.
I also really liked the stuff that was rarely on, Like HR PufnStuf or Land of the Lost. |

But I must say I grew up on Disney. |

Speaking of old Disney cartoons, I think one of my favorites would have to be the one where Goofy does the instructional video. I think it was different exercise equipment. Something like that. |
I used to run home from school in order to be in time to catch the beginnings of Speed Racer. I see it now and wonder about the 8 year old mind.
