I wanted to BE Space Ghost. I clearly remember taping typing paper around my forearms and (mentally) shooting death rays at aliens lurking around my house.

:shake:

Space Ghost was on Cartoon Express on USA.

I like it far better now that he does his talk show.

What was with the circling vomit that opened Ultraman?

Battle of the Planets / G-Force

Wacky Racers. I really liked the ensemble cast and the fact that endings were unpredictable. You never knew who would win that week's race.

I remember some of the Saturday morning cartoons being, Transformers, He-man, the Smurfs, the Snorkles (basically underwater smurfs), Looney Tunes, and I found the Hair Bears on Cartoon Network the other day. I was a little older, but my nephew would watch X-Men on Saturday mornings when I was babysitting him for a while. There were more, but I've slept several times since then.

I've noticed that there aren't really Saturday morning cartoons as I remember them anymore. Once shows like Saved by the Bell and City Guys came on, cartoons became extinct. Now it's educational type shows that they borrow from the Discovery Channel. Poors kids get enough education at school during the week. Bring back cartoons!!!!

By the time Inspector Gadget got over, I didn't have time to walk to school on time, so I was late nearly every day.

I also really liked the stuff that was rarely on, Like HR PufnStuf or Land of the Lost.

Oh, Mickey's done tons of cartoons. Disney used to show them in the mornings, after movies, he's done movies and shows.

But I must say I grew up on Disney.

There's a cartoon on the Disney Channel. I forget what it's called. But Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy run a club. All the Disney animated stars from all the Disney shows/movies come to eat dinner and take in a show. They usually show old cartoons. There's usually things that happens at the club that they have to take care of.

Yep, that's the one. I didn't really care for it either, but I liked to watch the old cartoon footage.

Speaking of old Disney cartoons, I think one of my favorites would have to be the one where Goofy does the instructional video. I think it was different exercise equipment. Something like that.

I used to run home from school in order to be in time to catch the beginnings of Speed Racer. I see it now and wonder about the 8 year old mind.
