They're really no different than Chiefs fans. Recall that many "geniouses" on here wanted to cut Mitchell pretty badly. Of course, now, a bit later, they're fine with him starting in the middle.

Not sure how the Mitchell situation is comparable. Mitchell was playing like shit, so fans wanted him replaced.

How is that like Jets fans pretending that Ty Law sucks after a Pro Bowl season?

They're already here.

And their bitter whining is already annoying as hell.

Oh, but he wasn't bitter nor was he here to talk smack.

He was wanting to extend a helping hand and warn us about how disappointed we'd be with Herm.

Such a nice guy, where would we be without his brotherly guidance?

I was looking at the rather sudden change in perspective that occurred. People went from wanting Mitchell cut to thinking he was a good linebacker; it's amazing what a little playing time experience will do for a talented player (Chiefs fans aren't known for patience). Similarly, Jets fans thought Law was teh win until he became a Chief. Suddenly, he's past his prime and it was a bad move on our part.

On the surface, their situations are completely different. In terms of somewhat quickly changing perspectives by fans, they're similar.

ROFL So they're 180 degrees apart, but the same. ROFL

They're the same in terms of fan reaction. Good lord, I didn't think this would be difficult.

I was actually hoping we were trading up to get Jarrett. Is it too early for a new draft planet? :-)
