i didnt go because the tickets were too expensive. but after the game, i wished i would have done it. it would have been worth the money.

That is awesome for yoy BRC! World Series Championship, AND you got to see bobbies that you have never seen before. You must plan a trip to England!

Seeing the Red Sox celebrating in our stadium after kicking our butts all over the fired was quite the bitter pill to swallow but I think we benefited from that experience and it showed this year. We seemed calmer and looked like we belonged than Detriot.

Hr thought they were great obviously....I took him to a Motley Crue concert and they had the Bobbie cam out and had all the ladies flash their boobs for about 10 mintues. He thought that was cool.:)

What a great story.....

Your luck with the rainout was almost my misery. I had bought Game 5 tickets figuring at worst it would be the last home game at Busch.....

Thursday night was great, but there was part of me that just felt I had to go down on Friday night just to be around the action. It turned out to be my lucky night when I ran into a guy down by the Westin in the middle of the 1st who had a single he had to get rid of or his girl was going to divorce him. $50 over face value later, I had a seat 5 rows off the field in the left field corner.

Stayed until about 12:30am....left just after Weaver took his victory lap.

I'm just glad I was there to be a part of it, it must have been even more special for you to share it with your son......

While I do not doubt BRC, that was probably the exception, not the rule...

I was walking around downtown for 2 hours before the game looking for a seat and never came across anyone selling for more than $2000/pair.

IIRC, face value ranged from $250 for Field Box, to $90 for SRO/Bleachers.....

Guys I saw the tape of the game and the person they show before the last pitch defintly looks like me and was dressed like me but its not me. I was up in the nosebleeds.
