I think I saw Newsboys twice when they opened for DC Talk and once on their own tour. Awesome show.

I haven't kept up with the Contemporary Christian Music scene in years. I liked Third Day. I also like Caedman's Call and Superchick.

Which band was it that had that hit song "Flood" a few years ago, on mainstream radio? I know they were a Christian band, but I can't think who it was.

If a friend of mine is to be believed, none of them were virgins. She used to work as a hooker (before she turned her life around) at a brothel in Springfield. I forget the name of the place, but it was out on either east Division or east Kearney, and there was another similar place called Scorpio's right next to it. Anyway, she said all four of them came in there one night after they did a show at Hammond Center. She actually managed to get photos of two of them when they weren't looking, and the guys in the photo looked a lot like Oz Fox and Tim Gaines, though I couldn't tell for sure if it was actually them. But according to her, all four of them visited the place ... and they weren't there to witness, at least not the kind of "witnessing" you would expect. That's one band that I never did buy the whole Christian schtick.

Another great band. I think my favorite song of theirs is called Art In Me off of their original album.

Is anyone starting to get the impression that Believer likes the David Crowder Band? Or is it just me? :)
