Listening to some of you guys whine it's amazing were even at 7-6. Why aren't near the bottom of the league like Oakland, Houston, or Tennessee? We don't have holes everywhere, we are a middle of the pack team who aren't yet at a playoff caliber team yet. We're average to slightly above average at best. I want this to be an elite team and it's disappointing to see our season fall apart at this time but we're not the horrible team you make us out to be.

Hali, and Derick Johnson everyone else can leave for all I care we need to make this team younger.

TG is not young, in NFL terms.

Don't knock Tennessee. They're 6-7 and clearly on the upswing. Hell, they'll likely finish with a better record than the Chiefs.

Yes, but almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Chiefs fans have had disappointment for 36 plus years, but nothing compared to the Chargers Fans and teams like Detriot. For many of those years we have always managed to win enough games to just to be in the middle of the pack. It may not be a bad thing to actually have 4 or 5 years where we win less than 6 games a year and truly be in a position to rebuild. Clean house eventually get rid of CP and replace Herm to a superb young and promising HC, someone like Payton in NO or a young Fisher. Just a thought.

Let the rebuilding begin

You do realize we are going to win these last three games... finish just out of the playoffs... and draft in the early 20's, don't you? ;)

Yep. After the Chiefs blew a 14 point lead with only 12 minutes left in Cleveland, I was D-O-N-E for this season. Funny that with all Herm's talk about what used to go on in KC, the same thing happened again this year. It kind of reminded me of the Dallas game last year. Basically, after that one, and how the Chiefs lost it, they were done. :shake:
