We are concentrating on the draft.

You can't draft players at every position, especially when our two biggest needs are OT and DT. This draft is not a good draft for either of those positions.

OT class is pretty damn strong by most accounts.

DTs are very solid at the top and there's some depth there.

Again, CP wont rebuild. He's going to restock and reload, just like every year, and try to get some good draft pics. Carl will not go out 4-12. People need to get that out of their head.

Peterson visits with Green, free agent Harris and agent Condon.

We brought him in that year before the draft. We thought a lot of him. We made a decision, right or wrong, to go with Ryan Sims. That’s one of the great things about free-agency. You might not get a guy the first time around, but you’ve got a chance to get him the second time.”

This is why we have so many holes on this team now is because of shit like this. When Carl said something about him "liking the UCLA guy" wasn't Carl the one that let him go in the first place?

It's also becoming increasingly evident that he won't build a team to be Super Bowl contenders either.

KFFL quoted NFL Network as saying Kevin Curtis fired Condon as his agent today.

And nobody is saying it all has to be fixed in one year. This draft has some good Olinemen and it's LB and WR rich. So why are we talking to Edwards (done or close to it) and Harris (never much in the first place)?

We got a LT in Mcintosh, we could tender Edwards and Reed and look at BPA at LB or DT. Instead it looks like we're stopgapping.

The OT class is strong at the top - Joe Thomas is one of the best prospects in years.

After him and Brown, there is a very precipitous dropoff.

And there aren't ANY can't miss DT's in this draft, even Okoye and Branch have big question marks.

There are several PROJECT offensive linemen in this draft. Signing McIntosh affords us the luxury of being able to draft one of those guys.

This draft is very strong at OLB, but not so much at ILB, which both Edwards and Harris are.

There very rarely are.

By the way, signing Harris and McIntosh also gives us some SLIGHT leeway to trade up in the 1st round if we need to - Okoye maybe?
