Are you ready for this? Northwestern has never been to the NCAA Tournament.

JoePo is a great writer. His strength isn't writing about the Chiefs, though, and I think that turns off some Chiefsplanet members. Still, we are lucky to have a writer of JoePo's caliber. He is one of the best in the country, especially when it comes to baseball and personal interest stories.

Yeah JoPos writing is a bit meaty for the average person.

What I mean by that is you're ****ing slow and stupid.

Posnanski is a ****ing champion, and I will fistfight anyone who is brain-dumb to the point of failure to see greatness.

JoPo is pretty cool, but this thread sucks.

his strength isn't writing about sports

he's a good writer .... should be doing books or something. His writing are all flowery and crap but usually miss the actually "sports" part.

That's what a good columnist does --takes you beyond the sport. His peers have voted him the best columnist in the country multiple times. That's all you need to know.

htismaqe 03-30-2007 03:36 PM

I still don't get it.

The stuff he's referring to was a survey done by SportsNation.

Before it was even discussed here, I heard them talking about it on Colin Cowherd, because he was using it to bust on Red Sox fans (as usual).

Yeah and Herm reads CP for advice on how to coach.
