4.65 40 yard dash is slow-ass for a WR no matter how you slice it. Does that mean he can't be a good player? No, but it is something teams will take into consideration.

I'll bet that Meachem, goes BEFORE Jarrett in the upcoming draft.

I seriously doubt that. You may have had 16 players slated to go in the 1st round, but you didn't have those 16 teams taking who you GUESSED they would take. It's pretty well common knowledge who's slated to be 1st rounders.

ChiefsCountry 04-03-2007 04:48 PM

Jarrett wont get past SD, I am with Mecca on that one.

Most everyone has him before Jarrett yet still has them both in the 1st round..........saying he goes before doesn't really change Jarrett's spot.

Do I really need to point out all of the truly stupid things you've said over the past couple of years....This ain't Madden.

You'd think he or his agent would be keeping track of that sort of thing. Or, possibly, he has more important things to worry about, like actually impressing teams enough to be drafted high.

he said verbatim "no, I didn't know I had the best time, I knew it was good. I don't keep track of those things" when I cited he had the best vertical leap and 40 time out the OL group in the combine

I've seen word around that Leon Hall is badly overrated. Never seen him on film personally, let alone live game action. So if this has any merit, what does that do to your Jarrett is a player who beats top competition argument?

he had 110 yards recieving when he played against Texas for the national championship too.

bdeg 04-04-2007 11:07 AM

He's not the only corner or team Jarrett has performed well against. Are you kidding me? And most mocks I've seen still have Leon Hall being the 1st corner selected.

Yep, in a brutal defensive struggle. Who was the leading rusher for USC in that game again?
