I left IN for Seattle on Wednesday morning and woke up Thursday to find out about this storm warning. I raced through KS, CO, and WY trying to miss it. Luckily I did.

The forecasters were saying around 12" and we didn't get a damn thing. A little sleet in the afternoon was all.

Nothing but rain here in Shawnee.

Does anyone remember the last time we got more snow than they predicted?

Heck, the last time we got as much as they predicted?

In Denver this year it seemed like they constantly botched their predictions. Most of the time they predicted something that wasn't too much and it ended up being much worse. Screwed me more than a time or two driving to work and left me stranded at work once.

We were supposed to get 3-5 inches in Topeka. Of course we got zilch.

How does KC look today? I'm in SEK and we got a couple inches this morning. I had planned on taking the family up to the Brigade game but we aren't going if it's slick up north.

I'm 45 minutes north of KC.... It's suppose to be about 45 today and near 65 tomorrow... I would think that anything that has stuck to the ground overnight, would be melted off by noon or so around KC....

Not sure how much they got though...

We ended up with 10 + inches, but no wind, came straight down with quarter sized flakes.
Yesterday the wife and I sat in the hot tub and watched it snow, was really beautiful

We had about 2-3 inches in Belton last night.

About 1 inch last nite its all about melted ..bye bye snow you sorry-shit ....

Our power went out at 1 pm Thursday and didn't get turned back on until Friday night at 7 pm. So-long refrigerated goods. I needed to clean that beast out, anyway. Man, there was like a food-drips stew in there underneath the crispers.
