LJ's going to hold out because he's two miles away from the Chiefs on contract negotiations.
Plus, I'm predicting 9-7, missing the playoffs. |
As I pointed out in my column, I think we'll be around 10-6, but due to the ease of our schedule we'll have a better record than the team we actually are.
Because of this we'll endure another horrible first-round playoff loss, Herm will be villified on Chiefsplanet for another offseason and everyone will clamor for the Chiefs to trade LJ. |
This is a 6-10 team. It would be in the best long-term interests of the franchise to trade LJ, but Carl doesn't think long term, and neither do most Chiefs fans. That's why we're stuck in purgatory.

I see us losing to Sandy eggo 2x, Denver 2x, and dare I say faiders could contend for 2x also. There is six tough games both away and home Put in these next couple of reasons and I see a couple more games to be lost. 1-Mike Solari is calling plays. 2-O-line is decimated. 3-QB is a unknown. 4-LJ wants more money, and Carl is a ballbuster as we all know. 5-Division will beat the crap out of us, even if were an okay team. 6-No J. allen for first of season 7-New kicker-usually good for one game losing miss. Chiefs are in big doodoo. |
This season is done before it even starts. Chiefs will begin to kick azz in 2 to 3 more years, granted drafting goes their way. Herm seems to be a good evaluator of talent in draft so far. Better then Dick V. ever was.

or else maybe carl and herm want to keep their steller draft pick LJ because they believe prime time is in 2 years and wants him to be part of the picture and not trade him off and end up with an average back.
