If the guy isn't canned, then I have zero hope for any of our offensive young starters like Bowe, Croyle that they will develop into anything in this league. If Norv is fired, he can come over here. The guy can't be an HC, but he's a brilliant OC - just look at what he did with the 49ers.

Norv is not the answer. I think what the Chiefs should really consider is to take advice from the members of chiefs planet. We can see a hell of a lot more than any of those dumbass coaches. We could appoint GoChiefs as our spokesman and call plays online.

Agreed. Hes was about the only guy to ever get decent production out of Ricky Williams. Hes pretty brilliant with the run game.

I'm not convinced that Dick Curl isn't effectively ALREADY the OC. Solari started out last year running the same offense as he inherited. He was chewed out publicly by Herm Edwards during the preseason for a turnover, and it wasn't long until the Vermeil - Saunders offense was mothballed. Furthermore, the QB coach who knew that offense, Terry Shea, was shit-canned for Dick Curl. Herm demanded further simplifications. Trent Green was told he was no longer wanted.

Make no mistake -- Herm Edwards and Dick Curl are running this offense, and Solari is simply around to serve as fodder to throw under the bus.

Hindsight's a bitch. Solari should have stayed on as O-Line coach, and Charlie Joiner should be our offensive coordinator right now.

If Dick Curl gets promoted to O-Coordinator, I will find a new team to cheer.


And I'll second Bad Guy's notion of getting Norv Turner in here. He would work wonders with the young up-and-comers on offense.

He's definetly not a motivator and continues to fail as a HC, i'd love to have him as OC, since that is what he does best.

I would love to see Dick Curl leave, but don't see it happening.
