Just like every one of our losses, Huard and the do-nothing OL are to blame.
|
I thought it was Favre yelling at McCarthy to challenge it.
|
everyone is REALLY pretty stupid if they think that play wouldn't have been challenged regardless...they could've SPRINTED to the line and snapped the ball in record time and that red flag STILL would've hit the field before they were able to get a play off.

Of course, we wouldn't need to be talking about this if Webb would've drug his feet and fell out of bounds instead of trying to maintain his balance and not fall. |
Webb-footed OOB wasn't the killer of this game. Running the ball up the O-Line's arses was. Forget establishing the run. Establish the hole in the zone, which is exactly what Favre does best. Off-tackle running and inside passes did it for GB. Lesson learned, I hope, week after week, but there's no memory in the play calling.

I do agree that Webb should've dragged his feet. He did a great job of it the last couple games..

The assessment would not have reached the sidelines fast enough if they'd pulled a hurry up. |

At the risk of being redundant I'll repost what I posted in the thread "WRs:"
"If you had the game recorded, watch that catch. Look at his left foot. He twisted his left foot. In order to have his balance and control, he needed to plant the left foot correctly. Wasn't his fault." |
shit .... would Webb even be on the team if he wasn't friends with Herm's son?
how many times has Webb "forgotten" to drag his feet? or fumbled? or dropped a pass? or gotten a dumb penalty? |
He made NO EFFORT whatsoever to drag his damn feet.
