I've been waiting for just that kind of revelation. Barney isn't bad, my Grandpa's dog when I was growing up was a Barney. I'll definitely add it to the list for consideration.

A more conventional name but still unique would be Brennin the Gailic word for fire

My Brother and I name our dogs after Native American tribes:

Seneca, Cheyenne, Apache, Cherokee.. etc...

You know I like it when people give their dogs common people names like:

Bob, Jack, Fred, Bill, Ralph etc. That always makes me laugh.
