I got a refurb Vizio from Tiger Direct a few months ago. It is a 42" LCD and I paid $700 plus shipping for it. Even after I bought the 5 year extended warranted from Vizio's site, it was still under $900. Keep an eye on TD or Newegg.com for good deals.

Bonus DoorBusters at Best Buy

I don't know if these are listed anywhere else.

Other DoorBusters at Best Buy

Those should be in the advertisment.

Also, it looks like Best Buy is doing some sort of Ticket System. They did the same thing when I waited for the PS2 release. I wonder how ****ing chaotic it will be when there are multiple items to choose from and hundreds of tickets.

edit: Starting at 3 a.m., with the front of the line, employees will hand out tickets to customers for Doorbuster and Bonus Doorbuster products (these are the front cover and BestBuy.com limited-quantity items, excluding CDs, DVDs and video game software).

The tickets, limited to 1 ticket per customer per item, will grant you the ability to buy the Doorbuster items.

--- stay in line for a few hours and get the tickets around 3:30. Take a nap and enter the store at 5 AM. You are guaranteed the product.

Does TD and Newegg run Black Friday specials? I'm really thinking about buying my first LCD HDTV. Walmart has a 42" Polaroid listed for $798

No problem, its a decent laptop, and a pretty good deal if you dont add anything other than an extra battery or upgrade it through dell.

I wasn't real impressed with Polaroid. And no, TD and NE don't do Black Friday specials as far as I know. They always have great deals. ;)

Haven't seen one in any ads. I'm talking about an LCD monitor, not a TV.

It's a great tv people....It's not 1080i...but who cares....it has an outstanding Hi-def picture....games look great on it (plus...with DLP you dont have to worry about burn-in)

Great, great deal on this tv
