Shooting % in this case has nothing to do with total minutes played. You yourself said Kaun doesn't shoot much, of course he's more likely to have a higher shooting %

good lord, that's reeruned...Kaun can't do anything but dunk on the offensive end...he's missed more 1 ft shots than any player in history...

i like the guy, but saying he's a complete bigman is laughable..

all about the points with you ... you even looking at the rest of the stats that are DIRECTLY effected by less playing time.

No one said you have to be a good shooter to be a good bigman down low offensively. Most centers aren't good shooters, but at this level, you for damn sure better be able to make it from inside a few feet most of the time. you could almost make an argument that he misses more from down there than he makes.

You're right. Kaun is 20 of 25 from the field. Also notice KU's lead increases while he's in and decreases when he's out.

Some guys were badmouthing Kaun on the KU board last year when a guy pointed out we were nearly always better off when he left the game than we were when he entered. I started paying attention to that and he was right.

it's the truth .....

if you look at the numbers, he's productive with the time he plays.

if you look beyond the numbers, we are a better "team" when he is on the floor.

lots of people don't want to hear it ... but it's true.
