I agree.

The original car was way over done and so is this Mustang.

I sure hope nobody ever needs to ride in the back seat. :D

Every model has it’s ups and downs. Didn’t Ford quit making the Mustang for a little while in the late ‘70’s early ‘80’s? Seems like the Mustang II almost killed that model.
Hell, even Jeep took a hiatus from the Wrangler YJ until they came out with the Wrangler TJ a couple years later.

True, but what if the LS-6 is boosted, or sprayed? Right now GM offers a factory NO2 “dry” system that adds a warranty friendly 125 horses at the touch of a button.
Motorcycle Drag Racing Buddy has a GTO with the 6.0L LS-2 engine so equipped and he’s already run on Z06 Corvettes.

First off, that car is a horrible KITT. Secondly, the original voice is none other than the principal from Boy Meets World. Granted, I know that show was horrible, but atleast it had Topanga in it and we all got to share her struggles with her weight, which seemed to fluctuate every episode...it was like a little fun game every week, one week fat, one week not bad looking..especially if you had a few beers in ya..and so on.

Um no, it came close, but never went out of production. I believe in 80 and 81 the 302 was replaced with a 255 V8, but the 302 came back in 82.

I’ll take your word for it. My Pony history is pretty rusty.
Still have respect for the Ponies though, even if I’m more of a bowtie guy. ;)

They should not have disgraced the Mustang Cobra that way.

Should have been the new Camaro or something totally g@y like that, since the first one was a GM product.

You're right and then when it did, the 5.0 Mustangs actually helped out GM's F-body (Camaro/Firebird) cars in that there was actually horse power to be made from polution controlled vehicles. The race was on again - so to speak. However, the GM F - bodies couldn't keep up sales wise and they quit making them. We'll see what happense next year.

I haven’t paid a whole lot of attention to it, but from what I understand this time around the Camaro will be much closer in price and performance to the Corvette. That’s both good and bad, because in the past they’ve been limited so as not to compete with the Corvette. Bad news is they will probably take a chunk of sales out of the Corvette.
Personally, I’m ambivalent towards the Camaro, but I’ve been a Vette fan since I was like 7 y.o. and if that ugly azzed Camaro damages the Vette I’ll be pissed.

So what is K.I.T.T. going to stand for now, since it originally stood for Knight Industries Two Thousand?

Pushead2 01-31-2008 11:42 AM

What a POS.

Stryker 01-31-2008 01:27 PM
