After pondering on your post for a while, I feel that it could be alot worse than we think it really is. You are correct in the lack of talent currently on board however, I think of the teams brought up in this thread that had just as bad talent to work with. The difference this year and years coming, is the Chiefs actually have some cap room to work with.

I don't care for Herm or CP but, I am glad they admit it is finally time to rebuild instead of signing crap, and then feeding us the usual shit burgers saying we are going to be competitive. I like the direction of using the draft and younger players to build for the future. In two years when they are both gone, we may have something special.

Just a thought...

well in our case we will have to get worse to get better. I'll take a few years of suckage if it means a bright future (also minus Carl). It better pay off damnit!

I just hope the new player are not a roster for of shit sandwiches. We should do well with our first two picks if we don't go to far off the beaten path but I don't trust Carl.
