Very true, just that little risk would still worry the crap out of me.

It just seems to me that Trent could atleast approximate that kind of money (while enjoying more family & free time, not to mention his health) with any number of business ventures...he'd be successful in nearly anything i'm sure.

But if he's gotta play, the only thing i could do is wish him the best.

Definitely. It does worry me, but I think the neurologists know more about it than all the BB experts. Specifically this last one who everyone in the NFL says is the absolute strictest doctor working today on granting clearance for players. Everyone told Trent there was no way this guy would clear him. If this guy clears him and says he is at no greater risk than any other QB in the league, then why not continue to play?

I understand everyone's point of view on here. I do. Hell, I have held it as well, and there is part of me that still does. That being said, you have the gut feeling and armchair reaction of people versus the facts of scientists and tests.

They need to start calling him "scarecrow".

If he is cleared to play, then whats the big deal? What do you guys know that he and his doctors evidently don't, that makes this such a big risk?

I would rather see Green retire than risk further injury. That said, it would be funny to have him back here this year. We would him and the fifth round pick we got from Miami.
