The highest note I've ever heard from a male singer is the guy from The Housemartins singing, "The World's on Fire". That's a glassbreaker.

Steve Perry, the original singer of Journey. The song 'Mother, Father' ends with a very very high note for about the last 20 or so seconds, I always thought it was just the keyboard.

When I got the Journey 'Live in Houston 1981' DVD a couple of years ago, which included that song, I was amazed to see it was Steve singing that note. I don't know how to post YouTube videos, but if anyone is interested they have that song from the DVD on file.
