Could be the fact he lost his starting job in a contract year, last season when he was on his last year.

They didn't want to pay him Franchise tag money(top 5 OT's) but would do the transition deal and match if they wanted or pay him top 10 money.

Probably a work ethic worry more than anything else.

There is no June cut date anymore. Teams can designate players as June 1st cuts, and release them prior anymore.

I've been advocating for him for a while. He fits what we are looking for and while we do need to build through the draft we have the ability to get a player if we so desire.
