Move ahead of Denver to take Chris Williams is the more likely scenario instead of Clady IMO.

Two days until Christmas.

11 looks to be too high for devin thomas, so i can definately see this happening...clady at 11 wouldn't be so bad.

Mr. Laz 04-23-2008 10:00 PM

i like this ..... if someone is there at 11 then pull the trigger.

much better than trading down from 5 and "settling" for some guy to get an extra 4th round pick or something.

Ironically my friend, I was born the same year the Chiefs were last present in the 'Superbowl'....37 years and counting....:grr:

They want to be in front of Denver. Screw the Broncos. I hope we take their #1 and #2 guys at 11.

doomy3 04-23-2008 10:14 PM

Trade back with the Pats or Jets and pick up a 2nd or 3rd, then move up from 17 to 11 by giving up a 3rd. I like that. I think I like 6th/7th and 11th better than 5th and 17th, and we get to essentially keep all of our picks in this scenario...

JBucc 04-23-2008 10:15 PM

We'll use the pick we get from trading from 5 to 7 to move up to 11 from 17!

Smed1065 04-23-2008 10:15 PM

Very nice off season so far, even though I thought different 15 days ago.

why the hell would we move back from 5 and maybe miss out on the top talent of the draft?

because if KC wants ellis and he is still on board...neither the jets or pats will take him, so by moving down a spot or 2, KC gets the player they want plus an extra pick...now if they want gholston and trade down they are reeruns, because that is who NE or the jets will likely be fighting over.
