If you listened to that radio broadcast there is something wrong with you. The fact that bob davis and denny do the games now sucks. give me ryan spitt or ryan denny is good but man does bob davis sucksssserrs

Last night in the 2nd game they had frank white alternating with ryan and split, it was great to listen to him and his thoughts and play by play.

Jose Guillen sucks

bastard

KCChiefsMan 04-25-2008 02:09 PM

it started off so promising too

Demonpenz 04-25-2008 02:11 PM

I imagine frank white still wants to coach/manage but yeah white and those old guys knew how to get shit done. it is too bad we haven't had people who knew how to WIN in years. those guys knew baseball inside in out and worked their asses off. I guess we also let a shitton of guys go that were good. sigh. Mine as well put anyone who played from 77 until 89 in the royals hall of fame.

Royals getting ready to go down again tonight....

4-2 in the Eighth...

BTW, those gameday threads disappeared really fast this year....

Deberg_1990 04-25-2008 08:40 PM

Holy crap...Hell just froze over. The Royals just came back:

B. Butler singled to left, J. Guillen scored, M. Teahen to third

- R. Gload reached on fielder's choice, M. Teahen scored, B. Butler to second on shortstop D. Eckstein's fielding error

- J. Buck doubled to left, B. Butler scored, R. Gload to third

- D. DeJesus singled to right, R. Gload and J. Buck scored, T. Pena Jr. to third

8-4 now. They shelled Downs, who in my opinion is one of the better situational lefties in the bigs, over the last 2 years or so... underrated

Walking TPJ to set up the double play was a really dumb move. They're paying hardcore for it now. The offense has finally come alive a little bit.

Taking advantage of some lucky breaks is going to get us out of this funk.

i have no idea why you would walk one of the lightest hitters in the major leagues, particularly a guy who is strikeout prone when you have less than 2 out...

Noticed there wasn't one for today. Maybe that's what was needed since they've scored six this inning so far to take a four-run lead. I think with Gordon batting, they've actually batted around.

VonneMarie 04-25-2008 08:47 PM

Yay.

Not to mention, of all Royals hitters, DeJesus is probably one of the last you'd want to face in that situation. Not that he's a superstar, but you'd probably have a chance of striking someone like Gordon or Guillen out, but you knew DeJesus was going to give you a tough AB and put it in play, which he did.
