Andre Smith is a better OT than Oher, believe it or not. If we wind up with either Smith (preferably) or Oher, our O-line would dominate for years to come.

Surprised no one has pointed out the reason Albert didn't play LT at Virginia.

Unlike Albert, Monroe isn't as versatile. Al Groh had that situation figured out well.

Not one single QB cracked into the top 32.

Come on Croyle! :toast:

I'll take either Laurinaitis or Maualuga.

DJ/Maualuga/D.Williams

Yeah, the Oher hype on here has gone a bit out of control. He's a great talent but so are a lot of other players on this list. It's not like he's guaranteed to be the next Anthony Munoz.

Not to worry, Chad Pennington should be freed up by then.

Most people only know about Laurinaitis or Maualuga right now, but come December next year Brandon Spikes (#12 in this mock) will be right up there with them.

El Jefe 04-28-2008 12:35 PM

Man I would love James Laurinitis at MLB depending on how our line looks, maybe Albert will be out LTOF. I would also love Malcolm Jenkins, he will be the best CB in the draft by far, he was the highest rated this year but stayed in school. On a sidenote the QB class is looking strong next year LMAO.

Personal view but I think Andre Smith is slightly better than Oher.....Smith reminds me of Pace, I think that guy is THAT good, either way I think they're both better prospects than any OT in forever.

That's what's intriguing.

We could have the 12th pick and still land an elite MLB.

or have the 5th pick and trade down....

i'm addicted to picks now

*rubs hands together*

This is the Draft that you can trade down. They've got elite players about 10-12 deep.

ChiefsCountry 04-28-2008 03:17 PM

Rey Maualuga behind Dorsey would be sick.

Sam Hall 04-28-2008 08:06 PM

I disagree with the top pick. I don't think WR is the Falcons' biggest need. Roddie White is underrated. I recall they had major offensive line issues this past season. I don't think WR is ever the wisest No. 1 overall pick. Most teams, the Chiefs not included for some reason, can find good, young receivers.

I've been on the Maualuga bandwagon for the Chiefs. He looks like a badass.

It would be similar domination like him and Ellis were to USC
